Soccer has a place for more kids
Vermont's TOPSoccer program gives kids and young adults with physical or intellectual disabilities a welcoming way to play. The Capital Region program is underway in Barre Town on Sunday mornings through October 12, with high-school soccer players helping as buddies. At $15 for the program — and scholarships available — it's also designed to be accessible to families.

TOPSoccer's Capital Region program (Barre Town) isn't in our directory yet — we're tracking it for a future update.
We're right in the middle of Vermont's fall soccer season. League play continues into October, culminating in the Vermont Soccer Festival on October 18. For families already thinking about what comes after fall soccer, we'll also be watching for winter training, futsal and spring registration as those opportunities begin appearing.

Before everyone's calendar turns toward skis and skates, there's one very Montpelier way to spend a fall Saturday. The Montpelier Fall Festival celebrates its 10th year this weekend with music, games, a one-mile family fun run, and activities across the State House lawn. It's an easy, low-friction family activity — and a nice reminder that Sign Up Vermont can help families find things to do, not just teams to join. Admission is free, with separate registration for the Fun Run.
